Janco Partners analyst Mike Hickey has issued a company update research note in which he predicts that Take-Two could bring its successful new IP BioShock to new formats in fiscal year 2009. The analyst thinks the franchise could be seen on PS3, PS2, Wii and handheld platforms.
BioShock was released in August to both critical and commercial success as an exclusive to PC and Xbox 360. Hickey also believes that the next game from 2K Boston/Australia (creators of BioShock) will be released in Take-Two’s 2009 financial year.
