Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will have a theatrical run time of two hours and 31 minutes, but what does it mean?

Well, it means you’ll be in your seat for 151 minutes, so be sure to go to a cinema with ample leg room and plenty of cushioning for your backside.

Zack Snyder is a fan of long running times, with Watchmen coming in at a lethargic 162 minutes and Man of Steel a little briefer 148 minutes.

With all the DC character introductions – Wonder Woman, Aqua Man and Flash – it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a much longer version hit Blu-ray at some point down the line.

For an added comparison, Fox’s $500 million grossing Deadpool doesn’t overstay its welcome at only one hour and 46 minutes.

Batman V Superman opens worldwide on March 25.
