Activision is working on a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game, according to a picture snapped at Toy Fair 2012. While the pictures are mainly of a new line of toys to be released for the Nickelodeon TV show, one shot reveals that Nickelodeon is also working with comic publisher IDW and Activision – essentially confirming the existence of a TMNT game.
No details on the title are available at this time, but in keeping with Activision’s usual approach it’s likely the game will arrive on all major formats.
The upcoming TV show is scheduled to begin broadcasting in autumn across Canada and the US, with other territories receiving it in 2013. The most recent TMNT video games were published by Ubisoft.
