Reports from retailers across North America have revealed that a number of PSP games have hit stores early. With a vast number of games available for the new system at launch, releasing a few a week early will tempt those who had fixed line-up of games in mind. There doesn’t appear to be a set list of games that have been made available early, with what is released being up to each store. Games that have been released early at some stores include Twisted Metal: Head on, Spider-man 2, Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 Remix, Wipeout Pure and Need for Speed Underground Rivals.
Anyone who picked up a Japanese PSP earlier in the year will be able to play these games straight away as the console has no region lock-out on games. The majority of gamers in North America will have to wait until the PSP is launched on March 24th 2005. European games will have to wait even longer, as no European release date has been set.
