Platinum Games’ Hideki Kamiya and Atsushi Inaba have given the studio’s fans something to get excited about in 2012: the suggestion of a new game announcement and a great year for the company.
Speaking to 4Gamer (via Andriasang), game designer Kamiya said that he’d like to announce a new game this year and be known as more than the guy who posts on Twitter. Producer Inaba added that he believes 2012 will be the ultimate year for Platinum Games.
Platinum Games is currently known to be working on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Anarchy Reigns.
Could the new game being announced in 2012 be a sequel to Bayonetta? A follow-up to 2010’s brilliant hack ‘n’ slash would be great news to the original game’s many fans.
