As one of the sponsors of the event, CEO of Infinium Labs Kevin Bachus and some of his team were able to discuss the Phantom’s development with the games development community.

There is huge support for an effective on-line channel that takes gaming direct to consumers.“
For those unaware of the Phantom, it is an on-demand videogame service, allowing gamers to download games via broadband at any time, day or night. The Phantom is an intriguing idea, but we’re still unsure if such a service will take off. Both Microsoft and Nintendo will be offering similar style services with their next-generation consoles, and Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade is available now.
