The list does come as some what of a surprise, with Call of Duty: Finest Hour and GoldenEye: Rogue Agent being joint favourite at 4/1. The fact that they are two of the last high profile releases of the year could be a major contributing factor.

Moving down the list we meet massive sellers GTA: San Andreas and Halo 2, at 7/1 and 8/1 respectively. The most wanted PC game of the year, Half Life 2 looks a good bet at 16/1, with many internet gaming forums whipping themselves into a frenzy over tomorrows release.

Other titles of note are the sequel to last years Prince of Persia at 25/1, and perhaps a title that deserves better, Ratchet & Clank 3, with more than reasonable odds of 50/1. Of notable absence is Nintendo’s Metroid Prime: Echoes on the GameCube, seemingly not creating enough buzz to make the list.
