On April 6th Nvidia will launch its nForce 4 Intel Edition motherboard. Up until this point only PC users with an AMD Athlon 64 could benefit from SLI technology but now the SLI platform is coming to Intel.
Many of the big names have announced support for the new platform including Abit Computer, Asustek Computer, Gigabyte Technology and Micro-Star International (MSI). With SLI support these new boards will be aimed primarily at the gaming sector allowing the use of 2 PCI Express graphics cards to be used simultaneously to increase gaming performance.
