Sales of the 3DS have seen a dramatic drop since Nintendo’s recent announcement of a price drop.
The week of the announcement the 3DS shifted 16,415 units in Japan. This week, however, with a price cut mere days away, sales dropped to 4,132. This shouldn’t come as a surprise; holding fire for a week or so could save a considerable amount of money.
Today, 3DS price cuts took effect at retailers across the UK. The 3DS is at its cheapest at Amazon, who are selling the handheld for £115, with free delivery.
