In a somewhat surprising move, Microsoft has this month registered both Microsoft-Sony.com and Sony-Microsoft.com.
Some have speculated that this might point to a one-console future that many people have prophesied over the years. This is highly improbable, of course.
It’s more likely there’s nothing behind it whatsoever – just Microsoft buying domains, making sure nobody else can do anything with them.
It looks like we could be left in the dark over this one.
