Lucha Fury, a four player side-scroller from Punchers Impact, is now available on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 Microsoft points.
The game revolves around Pollojo – an energy drink created from the nectar of the gods. Said gods weren’t happy about this, however, and decided to take it back, destroying humanity in the process. Playing as one of four Luchadores, the idea is to take on the gods and win it back.
Think of an over the top, colourful, Mexican take on Streets of Rage, and you’re along the right lines.
“Its blend of old-school gameplay and trendy visuals will quickly grab the attention of the core demographic, whilst remaining accessible enough for anybody to jump in and have a blast.” I said of the game last year, after having seen it at Puncher Impact’s studio.
