George Lucas has opened his new headquarters for his enormous film and videogame empire. The new HQ is in the Letterman Digital Arts Center in San Francisco and contains an unimaginable 600 miles of fibre optic cable.
The new HQ has been designed to form a studio enabling collaboration from artists, videogame developers and directors when working on visual effects and digital images. The complex also houses a 300 seat cinema and other smaller cinema rooms in which work can be viewed.
Lucasfilm, Industrial Light & Magic and LucasArts will be moving into the new HQ next month.
