inFamous: Second Son lead designer Jamie Griesemer has confirmed his departure from Sucker Punch – just days before his new game launches on PS4.
A Twitter user had spotted that Griesemer’s CV noted he was no longer at Sucker Punch. “Yes, I have left SP. Not really talking about it yet, tho,” said Griesemer in response.
Griesemer joined Sucker Punch back in 2011 as boss designer for inFamous 2 and Festival of Blood. Prior to this he worked at Bungie on Halo 2 all the way through to Destiny.
This is the second high-profile Sony dev departure in as many days, with Sony also confirming that God of War 3’s creative director Stig Asmussen has left Sony Santa Monica.
inFamous: Second Son launches in the UK this Friday, March 21.
