Hogrocket, a studio formed from the remnants of the recently disbanded Bizarre Creations, has revealed that its début iOS game will hit the App Store September 1.
The game – on which there are currently no details – has been developed by a trio of ex-Bizarre staff: Ben Ward (Bizarre’s ex-community manager), Pete Collier (senior level designer on The Club and Blood Stone) and Stephen Cakebread (the brains behind Geometry Wars).
“We’re mega excited to be releasing our very first game here at Hogrocket.” Collier told Eurogamer, “The shift from AAA to mobile has been a really rewarding challenge and this launch marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for us. We hope you enjoy the game!”
We’ll find out exactly what Hogrocket has in store when the game launches next Thursday.
