Guillermo del Toro is best known for films such as Blade 2 and Hellboy, but it seems he might be trying his luck at a video game. The zombie game, titled Sundown, will be created with BloodRayne developers Terminal Reality.

I believe in the next 10 years, narrative media is going to shift to a hybrid of video games and movies. This is a great opportunity for me to help be a bridge to what I believe is the future. We want to create a real beginning, middle and end to the game and to each set piece of the game too,” said del Toro. “I want to make some of the atmospheric elements in the game very, very scary.”

With E3 only a few days away, an announcement with more details could be in the offing. We’ll let you know if we hear any more.
