Family Guy Online has been revealed via a new website for the game, which is currently requesting testers for a closed beta.
No details have been given, but a beta certainly suggests that it’ll be of a massively multiplayer nature. Quite how this will work in the Family Guy universe is unclear.
Eurogamer is reporting that the game will be browser based, but there is no word on how it’ll work.
While the site itself doesn’t offer a release date (or dates for the Beta), a Facebook page reveals that the game will launch in Autumn 2011.
A poll on the site asks players what character they’d most like to play as: Peter, Lois, Chris, Brian or Stewie. Clams, a fictional currency that will be used in the game, are being offered as a reward for completing the poll.
