Following the closure of Bizarre Creations back in February, Matt Cavanagh, the lead designer on Blur, has gone on to found Totem Games.

Not much is known about the new venture, but GamesIndustry.biz reports that the company is registered to just Cavanagh.

Also rising from ashes of Bizarre Creations are Hog Rocket – formed by ex community manager Ben Ward – and Lucid Games – led by former senior manager, Pete Wallace.

While Lucid Games is aiming to “take the spirit of Bizarre Creations and improve on it”, Hogrocket is looking to focus on smaller projects, specifically for PC, Mac and iOS games. Gameplay for Hogrocket’s first game is already “nailed”, according to Ward.

Hopefully we’ll hear from Cavanagh about what to expect from the studio in the near future.
