According to a job advertisement spotted by French site xboxygen (via CVG), Epic Games is looking to hire staff for a ‘new unannounced IP’ that the studio has in development.
“Epic Games is looking for Gameplay Programmers to join the team working on Gears of War 3, as well as a new unannounced IP in development,” the job listing reads.
Given that the project is both ‘new’ and ‘unannounced’ it’s hard to say what it might be exactly, but after Epic showed off that Samaritan demo to demonstrate the capabilities of DirectX 11 with Unreal Engine 3, wouldn’t it be nice to think it could be that? Epic has said, however, that it has no plans to turn the demo into a game.
