Many months after Doom 3 hit the PC, the Macintosh version has shipped. The Mac version was handled by Aspyr Studios. Todd Hollenshead, CEO of id was pretty enthused about the release of the game on the Mac. He said: “Now Macintosh owners can experience the unmatched atmosphere and edge-of-your-seat gameplay that critics and gamers have been raving about.” He went on to say that “our bleeding-edge technology is the perfect showpiece for the power of today’s Macintosh systems.”
