Tim Sweeney, Epic CEO, stated in a conversation on Twitter yesterday that cloud saves are possible for a few titles on the Epic Games Store, with plans to roll out the feature more extensively in the future (via Polygon).
Cloud saves are enabled for a couple of new games right now. We have a bit more work to do before rolling it out more widely.

Valve’s distribution platform, Steam, launched the feature back in 2008 and it’s come to be an expected part of modern gaming: the ability to access game saves from anywhere at any time on the cloud of remote servers. A fan spotted the ‘enable cloud save’ for Moonlighter, currently free on Epic, which means that the store could attract new customers turned off by the lacking feature.
It’s not available for all games, though, but it does seem that the Epic team are on the case, according to Sweeney: ‘We have a bit more work to do before rolling it out more widely.’
