Battlefield 1’s open beta will come to a close this Thursday, September 8, EA has confirmed. The date had been leaked previously, although this is the first time EA’s made it official.

That means that you only have a few days left to try out the beta. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you can grab it from PlayStation Store, Xbox Store or Origin. A download code is not required.

The beta gives players access to two game modes – Conquest and Rush – across the game’s Sinai Desert map. I had a lot of fun with it in last week’s livestream.

Yesterday, EA suggested that players who are keen to try out a new map should leave a request on the game’s forums. There’s no promise that a new map will be added prior to the beta’s conclusion, however.
