Bandai Namco has teased some “big Dark Souls news” for tomorrow, April 8, just days ahead of Dark Souls 3’s launch next Tuesday.

Teasing the news on Twitter, Bandai Namco UK said: “We have some big #DarkSouls news tomorrow – stay tuned!” There aren’t any further hints as to what the news could be related to.

Namco has previously confirmed plans to release two “epic DLC packs” for Dark Souls 3, introducing “new maps, bosses, enemies and additional weapon and armor sets”. It’s possible that it could have plans to release more details on those.

Dark Souls 3 launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC next Tuesday, April 12. According to Burns’ review, it is “both compulsively playable and utterly loathsome,” but sadly fails to hit “the heights of Bloodborne or the original Dark Souls”.
