According to Apple’s Q3 earnings report, the technology giant has sold 9.25 million iPads and 20.34 million iPhones in the last three months.
“We sold every iPad we could make,” said chief financial officer Peter Oppenheimer, as reported by Venturebeat.
“Sales of the iPad 2 have absolutely been a frenzy,” added Apple chief operating officer Tim Cook.
“As we stepped into July, we have been able to increase the supply further, and some SKUs in some countries are at a supply-demand balance. This is a good sort of problem to have.”
Apple’s net income has increased 125 per cent on last year, rising to $7.31bn (£4.6bn) for the quarter. Sales wise, this is the company’s best ever performance.
