Special editions of games are a given these days, with the publisher able to throw in a few desirable items and attach a higher asking price.
It looks like Crytek is going several steps beyond the norm with its Crysis 2 Nano Edition, which was briefly available to order from Swedish store Webhallen.com.
The Nano Edition includes a Nano Suit backpack, 7.9 inch-long Prophet statue, 176-page art book, a SCAR hologram, “Waffenskin SCAR – Camouflage,” access to higher ranks and unlockable items. All this comes inside a special steelbook case and can be yours for the small sum of €158/$199/£130.
The listing has now been removed from the online retailer, but German video games website PlayFront.de managed to grab all the info before the cover up.
Crysis 2 is scheduled for release this autumn for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
