Dead By Daylight leaker, Dvveet, has revealed planned original Survivors allegedly cancelled by developer, BeHaviour Interactive. Among these Survivors, Dvveet claims BeHaviour has “most likely scrapped” a buff female wrestler who was likened to WWE’s Rhea Ripley among the Dead By Daylight community when concept art first appeared online.

Dveet is an often reliable Dead By Daylight leaker who has also been posting on the LeaksDBD subreddit as alias EvilMegThomas. The leaked female wrestler Survivor is named Mina Key, and concept art for her was first posted on the LeaksDBD subreddit in October. According to descriptions accompanying the concept art, Mina Key is an American in her 20s and is a “bodybuilder and amateur wrestler desperate to make it in a corrupted sport”.

Leaked descriptions say she’s “Highly trained, agile, and muscular,” and it’s reported that she was shown off in a focus group for Survivor concepts, with claims she’s “based on beloved female wrestlers of the real world”. Dead By Daylight fans immediately compared her to WWE’s Rhea Ripley because of the muscular physique and gothic wrestling attire, although Mina Key’s concept art rocks blonde hair instead of black and lacks tattoos.

According to Dvveet, Mina Key was “positively received internally, and by the focus group she was a part of,” however, the “leak was damaging for her release”. While Survivors such as Vee Boonyasak for Chapter 37 have leaked in the past, it happened in August, just one month before Chapter 37’s release in September. The difference with Mina is that “she was leaked very early,” so she wasn’t “locked in”.

There’s always the possibility that BeHaviour return to Mina Key in the future or make alterations, but they’re not revisiting her right now. This is a shame as she would’ve had the “first buff female model”.

More cancelled Dead By Daylight Survivors

There are more allegedly cancelled Dead By Daylight Survivors than just Mina Key. Another scrapped female Survivor is named Evelyn Delgado, who Dvveet describes as a “Preppy girl obsessed [with] true crime”. She was also based on the Megan Fox horror comedy Jennifer’s Body, as well as real-life pop stars Ariana Grande and Olivia Rodrigo.

Dvveet further reports that Evelyn had a career in forensics, and that she was “scrapped for multiple reasons, mainly a fear of ‘true crime girlies’ having a negative stigma”. Evelyn was also scrapped because BeHaviour was afraid of “her girliness making her shallow,” and BeHaviour wasn’t “sure how a girly girl and horror would be received”.

The final cancelled Survivor reported by Dvveet is a male named Lucas Laurent. There are fewer details about Lucas, but he was reportedly a “Rich kid heartthrob who did grand heists,” and was based on actor Timothee Chalamet, as well as heist movies such as Ocean 11.

This isn’t the first time cancelled Survivors have leaked. In October, there were leaks about BeHaviour cancelling a Latina tattoo artist named Lily Walker, as well as Mahan Singh, a soldier in the Indian army and uncle to Haddie Kaur, the Survivor of Chapter 24.

It’s important to remember that these are leaks rather than official plans. The only official Dead By Daylight chapter coming out soon is Stranger Things Chapter 2 in January, starring Vecna as a Killer, along with two Survivors who haven’t been revealed.

After January, datamines suggest that the March original Survivor is still coming out, despite BeHaviour previously suggesting it might be cancelled due to time constraints. Leaks claim the March Survivor is Renjiro Yamaoka, a cursed samurai and father of Dead By Daylight Killer, The Oni.
