Luna Snow is about to become a whole lot stronger in Marvel Rivals! The popstar Strategist has been struggling to keep up with the competition, but the upcoming Season 5.5 update is giving her a massive buff that could make her much more effective.

NetEase has decided to significantly buff the Strategist and even give her a brand-new ability. With the launch of Season 5.5 on Friday, December 12, the healer will have an increased projectile speed and a new tool in her kit.

The biggest change is the addition of a completely new ability called Number One Idol. This allows Luna to apply her buff to herself, separate from her Share the Stage ability. When active, 10% of the healing she provides to allies is converted into self-healing, allowing the Strategist to survive longer while also not having to worry about healing herself.

In addition to the self-healing effect, Luna gains a 10% healing and damage boost when the new ability is active. Thanks to this, her healing output will be much more effective, and we expect her win rate to skyrocket as well.

These changes are a direct response to her abysmal win rates. On PC, her win rate is currently sitting at a shocking 43.53%, which is the lowest of any Strategist by far. To put this into perspective, the next lowest Strategist is Jeff the Land Shark at 47.47%. In fact, only Black Widow has a worse win percentage across the entire Marvel Rivals roster with 38.55%.

The situation is just as bad on consoles, where her win rate is even lower, 43.08%. Once again, she is the worst healer and the second-worst character in the game.

With the new balance changes and the addition of Rogue in Marvel Rivals, we expect Season 5.5 to have a new meta. Luna Snow should be able to dominate the battlefield with her buffs, but we’ll have to wait just a bit longer to see how effective her new kit is.
