Twisted Metal for PS3 finally arrives after launching in the US last month. Reviews have been generally quite positive – you can check out some gameplay footage here. FIFA Street also returns after a long hiatus, with early reports suggesting this is a much better effort than we’ve had from the series in the past.
Yakuza fans will be both pleased and somewhat baffled by Yakuza: Dead Souls, which turns the franchise on its head with a zombie apocalypse setting. Aerial combat sim Birds of Steel comes from a developer with a good pedigree, while indie darlings Terraria and The Binding of Isaac both get retail PC releases.
- Twisted Metal – PS3
- FIFA Street – Xbox 360 and PS3
- Yakuza: Dead Souls – PS3
- Birds Of Steel – PS3
- Terraria: Collector’s Edition – PC
- The Binding Of Isaac: Unholy Edition – PC
And the rest…
There are plenty of other games out this week, although many of them will very quickly slip into budget bins. Blades of Time might have a slim chance of picking up a few sales, being a pseudo sequel to the so-so reviewed X-Blades. There’s also a sequel to DS football RPG Inazuma Eleven – which is probably essential if you’re in the market for another football RPG.
- Blades Of Time – Xbox 360 and PS3
- Inazuma Eleven 2: Blizzard – DS
- Inazuma Eleven 2: Firestorm – DS
- Ben 10: Galactic Racing – PS Vita and 3DS
- Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle – PS3
- Captain Morgane & The Golden Turtle – Wii and DS
- Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012 – Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii
