Right, that’s it – we’re done. Christmas is less than a week away, and if the office has to endure one more argument about Cheryl Cole, Alan Wake or Liz from The Apprentice, I fear that serious bloodshed may ensue. Besides, we all need to save our strength for our respective family gatherings – as that’ll be when the arguments really start. I’m not kidding, either: last year my lot played Charades, and Uncle Dave tried to do a scene from The Dark Knight; it took us half an hour to get that pen out of my cousin’s eye…
In any case, we’ve got a whole bevy of features lined up for you over the coming weeks, served up via our snazzy new Christmas Hub page. On Monday we’ll be kicking off our daily countdown towards our Game of the Year. We’ll also be running a series of articles on our individual Honourable Mentions – games we’ve enjoyed this year that haven’t made it into the site’s Top 20.
If you don’t trust our taste – and hey, who does? – Martin will be presenting the Community’s own Top 10 games of the year. Elsewhere we’ll see Emily wading through the worst releases of 2010, while Tom “Trivia King” Pearson hosts two special visits to his Indie Bin. Then, in January, Jamin will be casting his beady eyes over the potential highlights of 2011.
Thanks a million for visiting and supporting VideoGamer.com. You’re a lovely bunch, and you make this place what it is. We’ll be back on January 4th, but until then… may your stockings be full, your turkeys be plump, and your presents packed with gaming goodness.
