Valve has revealed it hopes to give PS3 and PC/Mac players the ability to play Portal 2 together.
Speaking after a presentation of the game at E3 earlier this week, developer Erik Johnson said cross-platform play is something Valve “is gunning for”.
Development colleague Mike Dunkle added: “The plan is you will be able to play between console and PC.”
Regarding Xbox 360, Johnson said there are no current plans to bring Steamworks to the platform.
