The 2.00 update includes many new features, including a web browser, improved audio and video playback and photo wallpapers. The update can be found on the official American PSP website.
Owners of Japanese PSPs have had access to the 2.00 update for some time now, and while it seems that that update will work just fine on US models, Sony advised against it, recommending that users wait for the officially released update for US PSPs.
