Xbox One will have a Halo game this year after all, with news that former Windows 8 tablet and mobile phone game, Halo: Spartan Assault, will launch for the next generation console and Xbox 360 in December.
Available as a digital download, Spartan Assault will pit gamers in galactic war against feared Halo franchise enemy the Flood.
The console version features over 30 missions, an all-new online cooperative mode, and the Operation Hydra expansion.
