Does Insomniac intend to follow in the footsteps of Dead Rising 3 and Ryse and port Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive to PC at a later date?

That's the question I put to community and marketing lead James Stevenson earlier this month who explained that, while there are no current plans for a PC port, the developer will "see what happens in the future" before deciding on a PC release.

"I don't know what the future holds," Stevenson said. "Right now there's no plans for a PC version of the game. We're just working hard to finish up [the Xbox One version]. We're going to support it post-launch and then we'll see what happens in the future. But there's no plans. We aren't planning a PC version or anything like that."

For the time being, then, Sunset Overdrive seems like it'll remain an Xbox One exclusive. But what do you think?

Will Sunset Overdrive come to PC in the future, or do you think it'll remain a permanent exclusive on Microsoft's console? Sound off with your vote in the comments below.

It's been a long time since I've played an on rails shooter......

Oh fine!

On a more serious note, very little about this game has made me really want to play it. I remember in one of the demos the player bounced and slid their way around the map. The a boss spawned, and the player went straight to the floor and just strafed for the entire boss fight.

I can;t help but think its going to be Deus Ex: Human revolution all over again

I think it will come to PS4, because Insomniac has been on Playstation consoles for their best games, like Resistance, Ratchet and Clank and Spyro

Seeing the XBox track record for exclusives I doubt it won't move to other platforms, especially considering Insomniac made a big deal about owning the IP's rights.
I hope it comes to PS4, especially if the game's turns out to be good.
I like the InFamous like elements, but I dislike obvious similarities with Dead Rising. I'm waiting for it to come out to see.

I don't think it will, Insomniac has always been a console developer and that's worked out pretty well for them
