Namco Bandai says it's because of overwhelming fan response.
There was a bit of a hoo ha when Namco Bandai announced the inclusion of Star Wars characters Yoda and Darth Vader in SoulCalibur IV. Not only were the pair shoehorned into the game, but they were separated - Yoda in the Xbox 360 game and Vader in the PS3 version.
Now, because of "overwhelming fan response", Namco Bandai has announced that Sith Lord Darth Vader and Jedi Master Yoda will be downloadable characters for Soulcalibur IV on Thursday, October 23 from Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PSN.
Players of either version of SoulCalibur IV will finally be able to experience the ultimate battle between dark and light. It comes at a cost though, with Darth Vader set to cost Xbox 360 gamers 400 MS Points and Yoda to cost PS3 gamers $4.99.
