Root Beer Tapper next up for XBLA

Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade service will update this week with the release of Root Beer Tapper.

Root Beer Tapper, Midway's arcade classic, will make its way onto Xbox Live Arcade at 9am on Wednesday, February 7. The game sees you take on the role of a barman who must top up patrons' beer mugs, whilst ensuring to collect the empties before they slide off the bar.

It's all good retro fun and for your 400 Microsoft Points you'll also receive 12 achievements to work for, updated visuals and some form of online multiplayer. As always there's also a demo version which can be used to test the water before jumping in and getting scolded.

Root Beer Tapper is the first of ten Xbox Live Arcade titles lined-up for release over the coming months, with titles such as Worms, Alien Hominid HD and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on the way soon.
