Venom gets its Prey

2K Games has announced that its Venom Games development studio is to handle the Xbox 360 version of Prey.

The PC version of Prey is in the hands of Human Head Studios under the supervision of 3D Realms, but the Xbox 360 version has been handed to the in-house studio Venom Games. The Xbox 360 version of Prey will feature online support for eight players, in addition to a number of exclusive features. Built on a heavily modified version on the Doom 3 engine, Prey should push the power of the Xbox 360.

Currently Prey has no firm release, but is expected in the first half of 2006.
