I'm in.

I have 4 Cobra missiles, but it's the medigel I think we'll need more lol.

Thursday is fine by me. I wont be able to play until at least 7:30 and more like 8-8:30 due to parental responsibilities :)

What sort of Consumables does everyone have? When I tried gold we figured you need to be able to carry more then just 2 cobra missiles. Atlas on early waves and phantoms too. You start getting like 5 on wave 5, it was nuts.

If you need a fourth and I'm on I'll join in for a giggle.

That energy whip does look pretty damn funky.

Martin (et anyone else) - fancy a go on a gold run at some point?

There's full disclosure of the update posted today by Bioware. A new mission type! Plus the Phoenix classes have energy whip melee! Awesome.

Do mean the 'precious metallic ore material that can be fashioned into expensive jewellery, ofter worn by royalty or medallion loving chavs'?

or

Completing a ME3 map on Gold difficulty?

If it's the later, send me an invite to take on a Gold challenge map with you and I'll have a go :D

having a good crew of people is pretty important. I've gotten pretty damn good now (not blowing my own horn, just I've been playing the game soooo much it's become in-grained). So far I can only do Gold as a Salarian (either infiltrator or engineer), Asari Adept (both of them) and my favourite class at the moment has to be the Batarian Soldier. He's the only class I've been able to do Gold with without too much trouble, even though he's not a prefered class for the gold challenge. Doing gold can be really stressful however, so silver is my usual setting.

ME3 is my primary 'go-to' for multiplayer at the moment. Nothing better. It does need a bit more variation by now though I think. New AI faction would be good, but I'm really not sure what would fit. Rachni? Mercenaries? There's not a lot left that fits. Perhaps just some more enemy types for each of the existing ones.

new game types would be good too, there's loads of scenarios that would fit.

I think I've done 1 map on Gold, but I was carried most of the way by better players at the time lol. You really need the equipment upgrades to stand a chance imo.

Ok, know a lot of people have left the battered remains of ME3 multiplayer behind them, but I'm still playing MP a whole bunch. Personally, I'm bloomin' happy with this little addiction as it's saved me a lot of money recently. I'm looking forward to the next free DLC, although I think they really need to create an additional enemy faction and some more game types within the 11 waves. A 'capture the flag mode' or a Halo-esque 'Capture the skull' mode would be great. 1 player on the team has to hold the skull/mass effect core (whatever) while the others protect him/her.

Remember guys, if anyone wants to have a few goes doing Gold difficulty, give me bell. I've done a few now but so far the Reaper Gold run is sooooo bloomin' hard. I've got three more maps to defeat the Reapers before getting another achievement
