Mass Effect 3 has gone gold - 360 demo available early via Facebook

Highly anticipated sci-fi sequel on track for March 9 UK release.

BioWare has announced that Mass Effect 3 has gone gold and will be released in the UK on March 9 - March 6 in North America.

"After an awesome effort by our team, I'm proud to announce #MassEffect3 is officially GOLD! Many surprises await you – this week and beyond," tweeted BioWare's Casey Hudson.

The single and multiplayer demo for Mass Effect 3 is released to everyone tomorrow, but you can access it early for Xbox 360 by taking part in a game on Facebook.
