Fable II DLC suffers delay

Breadcrumb trail leads Knothole Island to late January 2009.

Fable II fans had been looking forward to a bit of Christmas DLC in the shape of Knothole Island, but sadly Microsoft has announced it won't be arriving on December 22 as planned. According to the platform holder, "Due to unexpected technical difficulties, the Fable II: Knothole Island expansion will not be available until late January 2009".

If you were planning to enter the Download and Win competition by buying the expansion, fear not. The competition has been temporarily suspended and you'll be able to enter by downloading the free Fable II: Knothole Island registration gamerpic or by registering at www.xbox.com/fableIIknotholesweeps.

Expect more on the Fable II DLC early next year.
