Midway reveals new Xbox 360 WWII shooter

Midway has announced Hour of Victory, a new World War II shooter in development exclusively for Xbox 360.

War has always been a popular subject matter for PC and console first-person shooters, and Midway is hoping to follow the success of WWII veterans Call of Duty and Brothers in Arms.

Hour of Victory is Midway's new WWII FPS coming exclusively to the Xbox 360. The game is being created using Unreal Engine 3.0 and will features the British and American troops taking on the Germans and the Italians.

Each level in the game can be played as one of three characters: an American sniper, a British commando and a stealthy operative. Vehicles will also play a major role in the player's success, with the ability to take control of any vehicle you come across.

Hour of Victory is scheduled for release in the summer, only on Xbox 360.
