Bladestorm demo this week

Koei confirms demo will hit Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PlayStation Network on October 4.

Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War is set in the early half of the 14th century during which a quarrel over English succession to the French throne has escalated into what history would come to know as the Hundred Years' War.

Koei's video game hopes to bring to life the intensity of the war-torn Medieval Europe and will feature legendary characters including Joan of Arc and Prince Edward (the Black Prince).

The playable demo will be released this Thursday on both Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the PSN, a month ahead of the game's November 2 retail release.
