Remedy has filed a trademark for an unannounced game called 'Alan Wake's Return', according to an entry in the European Union trademark database.
Spotted by a member of NeoGAF, the trademark was filed on Tuesday, February 23, and covers computer game software, action toys, and the "production of television features", which covers "television entertainment", the "production of cinematographic films", "interactive multi-player computer games via the internet" and more.
Remedy has yet to announce a sequel to Alan Wake, or confirm what it plans to work on following the release of April's Xbox One/PC shooter Quantum Break.
While the listing states that the trademark has been filed by Remedy, it's possible, of course, that it could be a fraudulent attempt by an unknown third-party. Back in 2013, a trademark for Half-Life 3 appeared on the EU site, but was later removed.
A digital copy of the original game is also included with pre-orders of Quantum Break.
