Watch Dogs 2 is in development at Ubisoft, according to the online CV of the game’s senior gameplay programmer.

Julien Risse, who works at Ubisoft’s Paris studio, lists the unannounced sequel on his LinkedIn profile alongside earlier titles Watch Dogs and its DLC Bad Blood, but doesn’t offer any hints as to when we may see it.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot suggested that a sequel to Watch Dogs could be in development last year, but this appears to be the first time Watch Dogs 2 has ever been referenced by name.

Back in January, creative director Jonathan Morin admitted that there was a “lot of room for improvement” in Watch Dogs, adding that any potential sequel would have to “appeal to fans in a new way”.

UPDATE 11:45: Ubisoft has declined to comment. The reference to Watch Dogs 2 has also been removed from Risse’s profile.
