The first two DLC Operators for Rainbow Six Siege will release on February 2, 2016, Ubisoft has confirmed.

The characters will be available exclusively to Season Pass holders for one week before rolling out to all other players. Each will be available to unlock for free via in-game Renown or available to purchase instantly for £3.99. If you don’t pay for them, expect to have to play the game for around 50 hours to unlock both of them.

Ubisoft has yet to name either of the two Operators or reveal their unique gadgets, although they are rumoured to belong to a new Canadian special forces team, with one Operator expected to come equipped with a knife.

The publisher has yet to confirm whether the first of the game’s free maps will release the same day.

Rainbow Six Siege launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC last month, but failed to crack the top 5 in the UK All-Formats Charts despite being one of the best Games of the Year.

UPDATE: A new video released by Ubisoft Mexico has revealed a closer look at four of the eight DLC Operators coming to Rainbow Six Siege, revealing two new male and two new female characters belonging to the US and Canadian special forces.
