The Sims 4 sure does have some weird bugs, but they're all being fixed in a big day one patch rolling out today.
According to EA's support site, the new update fixes "several issues where babies were incorrectly hibernating within household inventories" which could lead to crashes, unplayable households and unexpected multiplying babies.
It also fixes an issue that saw Sims attempting to go on dates with the Grim Reaper. Why would they take that out, I hear you ask? Because it could end in "non-responsive game states," EA says.
"The Reaper still loves ya baby, he is just too busy to go on a date with every lovelorn Sim that vies for his attention," EA states.
Other issues resolved in the update include crashes in Build Mode and Create A Sim, problems with certain items, and game save hangs.

The Sims 4 launches on PC this Friday, September 5.
