Company of Heroes 2 announcement coming soon

The US published Games for Windows magazine will reveal Company of Heroes 2 in the next issue.

Jeff Green, editor of Games for Windows magazine, has posted on his blog that the upcoming issue will feature an exclusive on Company of Heroes 2.

"It's one of those "exclusive" stories - this time about the followup to Relic's awesome Company of Heroes. Guess what? We get to kill more Nazis again!! Yay!" says Green.

Company of Heroes was undoubtedly one of the games of 2006 so we can't wait to see what Relic has in store for the sequel.

DUDE if theyre gonna do wwii again they better add Japan and Russia with expansion packs and i no wat yall are thinkin
For the Japs, they should have.... BANZAI CHARGES!! And none of that stuff were they swing a weapon and the other guy doesnt do anthing and and its a block or they swing and theyre way off and they hit i DEMAND real hand-to-hand combat

this game will be GREAT :) i really hope they add more countries, like japan, russia, afrika korps, and the ANZACs just to name a few. it would also be good if tanks were more realistic having less health and taking more damage directly, it would also be good if infantry were a little less weak against machine guns/tanks

it would be more realistic if they add unit experience,like wen a unit(squad) kills it will give them more chance to evade incoming attacks or to critical strike like head shot or some thin...just to make it more realistic,wen vehicles reach high experience the aiming would improve...all im saying that would be AWESOME... :|

Answer To all the People Requesting CoH be part FPS. Men of War is a WW2 Style RTS, You can Control individual infantry and also control individual tanks and artillery(better yet you can control any individual unit in the game) the game includes all the factions of WW2 Soviet American German Ect. (except the italians) it has a completely destructable enviroment anything from wall buildings anything(also not to diss any CoH i am one 2 a big as a matter of fact) it is alot more realistic and tactical. If you want to know anything else about the game it is available with the demo on steam.

CoH 2 should be set in Burma during WW2. You would have US v Japs with Merrills Maruaders. British 15th Army v Japs also Australians v Japs
CoH is defiantely the best game since CaC

They should Put in Russians and Japs seeing asthough the russians were fighting the germans and the japs were helping them. It be cool, and new units and vehicles would be nice, Maybe even planes :P

Well done Scorch, Female Russian snipers is perfect. Or a Campaign story arc with the Night Witches. Long have I wished for Russians in CoH which is one of my favorite RTSs. I was let down by War Hammer 40k 2 which is not really an RTS but more of a RTT (Real Time Tactical) Very little building not a very user friendly upgrade system, and NOT ENOUGH UNITS CoHs pop limit actually makes sense which is based on territory claimed. Oh well StarCraft Wings of Liberty is coming soon that should hold me over before i can get some Russians.

They have already made a game like this, it was called The Outfit for Xbox 360. Released in 2005 prior to company of heroes.

RUSSIANS is a MUSTthey had so uch more unitts then anyone else Soviets

rocket launcher trucks, T-34 (cheap , fast to build , fast, powerfull, sloped armor)
HUmangous AT guns , awesome fighters and alright bombers,beast anti tank tankm and many more

I really hope they add an eastern front campaign and a pacific theatre campaign, playing as or agaisnt the russians or japanese would be so cool :D:D:D:D:D:D
