The release dates for the 500GB and 1TB versions of the new Xbox One S will be revealed next week, Xbox marketing exec Aaron Greenberg has said.

Microsoft announced the date for the 2TB SKU yesterday, confirming that the new console will arrive in the UK on August 2 for £349.99. The 500GB and 1TB models won’t be available until later, however, although they will be cheaper. The 500GB is set to retail for £249.99, with the 1TB coming in at £299.99.

The Xbox One S contains a 40% smaller design over the existing Xbox One plus a built-in 4K UHD Blu-ray player, allowing you to play 4K Blu-rays directly through the console. It also includes HDR support and ships with a new model wireless controller.

If you want one for launch day, you can pre-order the limited edition 2TB Xbox One S now(?)
