PS Move controller has sold 1.5 million in Europe
News
Initial sales 'far in excess' of Sony's plan.
The PlayStation Move controller has sold in the region of 1.5 million units across Europe, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe boss Andrew House has revealed.
Speaking to Bloomberg, House said that Move had "very significant sales in the first month since launch, somewhere in the region of 1.5 million units for the new controller across just Europe."
House added: "The initial sales response has been so far in excess of our initial plan that we'll probably be looking at accelerating production."
VideoGamer.com Analysis
Given the recent press regarding the sold-out Kinect, PS Move had taken a back seat, but 1.5 million unit sales is impressive. Thus far Microsoft has been careful not to reveal the actual pre-order numbers for Kinect, instead stating there will be more units available at launch than at that of the Xbox 360.

The tech is great the games are a bit dreary but with the fight , the shoot & sly cooper collection all due b4 xmas i'm hopefull it will improve . Next yr will be the one to judge the new motion controllers as devs will have spent more time with the tech & hopefully got past the gimmick stage.
