A member of EA’s Frostbite team appears to have outed the title of this year’s Need For Speed – and it looks like it’ll be called Need For Speed: Rivals.

“@EA @FrostbiteEngine prepare for #NFSRivals in Frostbite!” read a tweet from EA technical artist Andy Klein (since deleted). “FAST and beautiful, I’m quite proud to work with this team!”

Further details on Need For Speed: Rivals have yet to be released, but additional information is expected later today.

VideoGamer.com speculated earlier today that this year’s Need For Speed could be related to PSP’s Need For Speed: Underground Rivals following a message on the series’ Facebook page.

The game is expected to be in development at Ghost Games on both current and next-generation consoles.

A number plate featured in a previously released screenshot suggests that the game will release this November.
