Sony has released a walkthrough video of upcoming streaming service PlayStation Now.

The video provides an insight into how the store works, what the payment and rental options look like and the features that could be introduced in the future. The beta will launch with over 100 titles to choose from.

As of right now the open beta is currently only available in the US, but will be coming to the UK and Europe at some point in the future.

I don't really understand why you can't just sell games through the service and have the option to stream them whenever you want. I am sure there is a technical reason for it but for me that would be a no brainer.

I also agree that if you have already purchased a game on PSN it would be great if you could stream it for free. Probably won't happen because Sony wants people to get into their subscription model.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for $2.99? That seems like a good deal to me...

My question is, will my free PS+ games carry over to playstation now. If so I would order a ps4 as soon PS Now launched. Otherwise, no dice

I'm with you guys on price - unless the overall subscription hinted at is good value then I can't see myself even trying it. I've so many PS3 games unfinished on the shelf and the PS3 is still plugged in, I've no reason to really!

Where is the full price? Just watched the video and for 90 days its $14.99. Don't want to sound naive or anything, don't really keep myself in the loop if videogame news now. Interesting to know where these bad price points are, as I haven't seen anything yet.

It's one of those things where the value will lessen over time too innit. In a couple of years you'll be able to pick up a ps3 for peanuts, and the back catalogue, you're talking a couple of quid per title. Or £4-5 for 7 days.

P.S. I just had a brief look about to see the standard price of a ps3 at the moment, saw this 'great deal' on the Argos website. ps3 500gig with battlefield and beyond: two souls, just £290. Unbelievable.

You need a ps3 as well. So it's a good deal.

With some titles costing $30 for 90 days the pricing is ridiculous. I mean, if you can afford that then you'd just buy the title outright.

For the 2nd day in a row I'd have to agree with Karlius. Current pricing doesn't offer me 'value for money', I'd hope to see that being revised to a much more appealing structure when it all goes live.

They need to sort out the terrible pricing structure before full release!
