i dnt no y anyone is even questioning it, i mean if they make mgs5 then u should no its gona b another mind blowing game just like the rest of them, they all have great story lines and fantastic action so wats the big deal, i dnt no about ne one else but i dnt wnt the series to ever end i havent played any thing as close to the mgs series yet

Damn... Two-year development cycle seems to short... MGS4 was just so amazing, and I've got no beef if they release MGS5 for the Wii and 360 also, I'm a MGS fanboy, not a PS3 fanboy. I just hope that MGS5 dosen't disappoint...

MGS4 will not come to the 360 because Kojima himself stated that bringing MGS:Substance on the Xbox was a huge mistake. He didnt profit from it at all because not enough people bought it.Last edited on Wed 27 May 2009 by Dede

MGS4, was designed for the PS3, neither Microsoft nor Ninty have had a stand alone MGS title on their main consoles, Twin Snakes was a Remake, and Substance was a straight Port of MGS2

Multi-platform release would actually hurt. It would mean the game wouldnt be as good as it would be if it were platform exclsuvie.

Greedy companies like Ubisoft, EA etc. go with multi-platform only for the sake of money, sacrificing quality in the process.

I hope MS weren't pissed off when everyone thought that we were gonna bring an MGS out for the 360 and it turned out to be for the Ipod touch. Who seen that coming? I mean they only advertised in MGS4.

Like you have any clue what he means... Want to know what he means? Read everything you posted that says "What Hideo said". Don't rank this board with narrow minded B.S. interpretations. Maybe you cannot understand the concept of mass appeal? Change? More money? More fans? If you don't keep things fresh then it just stays a cult hit. Its the death of creativity if games like MGS4 go Multi plat. Much like you'd never see Gears on PS3 or Wii. Metal Gear is an awesome game I haven't played it for a year and just picked it up and beat it again, it was an awesome experience yet again. The graphics and story line and even the freaking music is on a world of its own. Flawless cut scene transitions same graphics, game plays like a high budget Hollywood flick, you can feel the emotions in the game, after all its snakes last mission. Its a classic game and the best single player game out on the market, pssh nothing comes close. Yeah Hideo may have a big ego that's because you perceive it that way, he's like the godfather of video games for our times. It was because of his different creative mindset that games like his were born, games like splinter cell. I'm sick of people start bashing this game, the reason I believe is because some of you don't have a PS3. LoL, and people stating that this is the game gives people who own a PS3 to crow about, your damn right! This game is better than any game, yes any game on that other system, I admit multi player is not that great but the game itself is the best out there. Gear2 sucked the same as the last, Halo same as the last and you call these next gen, more like last gen with a graphic update. Flat out freaking sound track is awesome! Oh by the way IGN Modern warfare 2 wasn't the first game set in a blizzard, I think you may have forgotten about this master piece! With the new price drop, and more exclusive games coming down the pike I believe Hideo will keep it real!

Never understood the love for MGS after number 1 it's been downhill from there, an hideos gaming experience, lately revived by Ps3 owners desperate for a title to crow about.
